Happy Thursday everyone! It’s the middle of December already and I can’t believe it but here we are again. This time every year, I start to set up for next year’s budget. In our house, one of my main “jobs” is money management. With only one regular income, four people, and three pets, every dollar has a long way to go. Building and maintaining a budget is absolutely crucial to our financial success.
Managing your household’s money is an art form. There are so many moving parts and it’s honestly a lot to handle. I mean, think about it…there’s a good chance you have two or more incomes coming in, all at different times throughout the month and (at least in our case) well over a dozen different bills going out. Some of those bills may be on auto pay, some you may have to schedule, while others, you may have to handwrite a check and mail it out.
That’s a lot to keep track of!
Using a budget calendars is so incredibly beneficial to this task! Personally, I’m a visual person. I need to see everything laid out in front of me. Three years ago now, I started using the calendars that Melissa at Grace Christian Homeschool so graciously provided. It appears that this year, though, she has not had the opportunity to create the 2018 calendars.
If you’re not sure of how to utilize these budget calendars, check out How to Create a Realistic Household Budget and Maintain It. This is how I’ve managed our budget for a few years now and we are finally in a place that we have an inch or two of breathing room because of it.
So, below are the budget calendars for the entire year of 2018. Feel free to download them if you wish but you have the option to print them directly from the page. Happy budgeting everyone! (Yes…I know how uncool that sounded.)
I know I’m a little bit early but I want to wish you all the happiest of holidays and a wonderful new year. I hope you’re all enjoying this winter weather!
